Artemida Botanicals exists because the women who built our lives deserve skincare that takes them seriously. We formulate around skin biology — ceramide depletion, lipid loss, declining estrogenic signalling — not around a marketing brief.
Every ingredient earns its place by what it measurably does. Our oils are anhydrous because water destabilises actives. They are cold-pressed and CO₂-extracted because heat destroys the molecules we paid for. They are organic because soil chemistry shows up in finished oil profiles.

Artemida Botanicals is the work of one formulator — Ania — operating from a home laboratory in Gorey, County Wexford. The brand began as a personal project: a search for skincare that didn't condescend to women in their fifties.
What started as cold maceration trials turned into a methodology. Every formula here has been weighed, tested, reformulated, and worn before it was named. When a kokum percentage produced a chalky finish, the entire body line was reformulated. When caffeine refused to dissolve in an anhydrous matrix, the answer became guarana macerate.
This is not luxury skincare with botanical decoration. This is botanical skincare — formulated to a clinical standard, in small batches, by someone who reads safety assessment reports for pleasure.

Cleanse
A balm or low-surfactant cleanse. Skin should feel soft, not stripped.
Mist
A floral hydrosol — rose, neroli or melissa — left damp on skin.
Press
Three to four drops, warmed in palms, pressed — never rubbed — into damp skin.
Rest
Sixty seconds. Let the oil bind to the lipid layer before anything else touches it.
